We continue on the Hype/Danger Index on AI. With the recent surge in AI investments, as evidenced by Hugging Face's monumental $235 million funding from giants like Salesforce and Nvidia, and the unveiling of transformative AI tools such as Facebook's SeamlessM4T, our Hype score has been adjusted from 80 to 85. Concurrently, the Danger score remains at 72 points, reflecting ongoing concerns about the potential misuse and biases of AI models. As AI continues to permeate various sectors, companies are not only leveraging VC funds but are also strategically positioning themselves through acquisitions and technological revamps. This shift underscores the increasing emphasis on the tangible applications of AI and the infrastructural challenges posed by its computational demands. Overall score sits at 78 this week. Let’s see if hype will continue to grow and allow us to bump to 80 next week!

Upscales have a new button now called "Vary (Region)". This let's you reroll specific areas of the image. You can also type /settings & click "Remix Mode" to set new prompts over selected regions. Add a hat, remove a building, but as always have fun!
